Returning by popular demand for Northeast Berks Chamber’s 2023 Economic Forecast Report, Ryotaro Tashiro, Senior Outreach Economist for Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia, Kutztown, Pennsylvania:
The Northeast Berks Chamber of Commerce announces the return of Ryotaro Tashiro as the Keynote Speaker for its upcoming 2023 Economic Forecast Report to be held January 20th, 2023 at Kutztown University’s McFarland Student Union Building.
Barbara Coffin, president of Northeast Berks Chamber of Commerce, shared, “I’m excited to welcome back Ryo and hear his economic analysis as the new year begins. This has been a very volatile economic year. I am very interested to hear directly from the federal reserve what their economic forecast is for 2023 and what the anticipated impact will be on small businesses.”
Ryo Tashiro, a Senior Outreach Economist for the Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia, will be sharing his views on the national and regional economy during the presentation. Ryo shares, “Not only do I recognize the importance of informing the public of the economic forecast, I also believe it is important to discuss what individuals across the district are experiencing.”
Critical questions will include, but are not limited to:
- What is the state of our economy now?
- What has improved over the past six months?
- What still remains a challenge?
- What is the outlook for inflation?
Prior to joining the Federal Reserve Bank in June 2016, Ryo was a business analyst for Bloomberg, where he conducted research on issues related to equity data quality. He has a master’s degree in economics from the University of Michigan–Ann Arbor and a bachelor’s degree in economics from Kenyon College.
